Meet The Team

GAVIN

I've had a passion for two wheels ever since I rode my first dirt bike at 6 years old. I grew up racing motocross, mini moto, sport bikes, and super moto. During those years, I began learning how each and everything worked on my bikes. If something broke, I fixed it. If it didn’t feel right, I tore it apart until I understood why. If I had a vision for a bike, I built it. That’s where my obsession really started:

Performance. Power. Handling. Precision.

No guesswork. No shortcuts.

I had one problem though; I didn't have access to the right tools or facilities to achieve the ideas that I had in mind. I was stuck with taking my bikes to whatever shops had time and settle with what I got. Whether it was engine modifications, tuning, performance upgrades or even welding/fabricating. "It's good enough" often seemed to be my only option. Even when paying top dollar for a service on my bikes.

That NEVER sat right with me.

Which is exactly why G-Tech Moto Works exists: To provide a high quality product/service that is "Far From Ordinary" and one which you can trust because in my mind "good enough" just isn't going to cut it. My focus is always "How can I make whatever I am working on as close to perfect as possible."

I started in a single car garage with a coffee tin full of tools. Over the years, I have worked at slowly building up my skillset, knowledge, and arsenal of tools/ machines to get the job done properly and to a high caliber. Every bike that comes through the shop gets treated with just as much pride as if it were my own.

This isn't just a day job to me.

Its what keeps me in the shop long after everyone else has gone home.

I don't just work on bikes to make a living.

I LIVE FOR THIS STUFF!

JOE

My skills as a motorcycle technician were built long before I entered a professional shop. I grew up in my family's auto mechanic shop, raced motocross, and jet skis: developing a rider’s instinct that became the foundation of my career. All the while, maintaining, repairing and modifying my own machines.

That foundation evolved when I became a CNC machinist. Working with CNC mills and lathes taught me extreme precision and the importance of proper tolerances. Machining sharpened my ability to diagnose problems correctly the first time and gave me the confidence to handle advanced fabrication, custom parts, and precision work many shops outsource.

I strive to bring together a unique personal combination of mechanic’s intuition, machinist’s accuracy, and rider’s insight.

My next chapter began supporting my son in racing, which eventually grew into a family-run shop built on honesty, craftsmanship, and pride. What started as garage projects became a business rooted in shared passion and generational knowledge.

My connection to motorcycles isn’t limited to the bench. I’ve spent years riding, building, and pushing bikes to their limits on the street and the track. Racing taught me how engines behave under real stress, how suspension feels at speed, and how small adjustments can transform a bike. My knowledge comes from decades of experience, hands‑on learning, real world problem‑solving, and a lifelong commitment to mastering the craft.

My work is more than a service; it’s workmanship shaped by decades of curiosity, family tradition, and a strong interest for the machines that have shaped my journey!
